Belong to a national physician organization to;

• identify and advocate for educational and research programs where there is perceived unmet needs

• participate in the development of physician papers, knowledge translation research activities

• participate in regional knowledge translation working group research meetings

• receive priority access and preferred registration rates to live and online accredited educational programs

• receive updates on clinical practice guidelines

• receive priority access to ongoing clinical trial research

• receive priority access to reflective/self-assessment learning modules

Members ensure that the physician organization is accountable and transparent. They bring the perspective as "experts" from their unique experience and knowledge. Engaging members provides new insights and relevance, contributing to the advancement of continuing medical education and research in their communities.

The goal is for members to actively participate in the physician organization to support continuing medical education and research that will have an impact on clinical practice and patient outcomes.

• As steering committee members - develop, design, guide and update educational initiatives

• As speakers - educate peers and colleagues on recent clinical developments and how they may impact on patient care

• As contributors - participate in surveys and needs assessments

• As supporters – attend accredited programs and providing formal feedback

• As researchers – participate in physician papers and knowledge translation activities

You will receive an invoice by email for your membership fee of $99.00 per year plus HST.
